🌎 An Invitation to Rotarians, Music Lovers & Peace Advocates

We invite you to be part of something truly powerful—a campaign where music becomes a bridge, a second chance, a voice for those who need it most.

Instruments of Peace is a global initiative, a project created by Diego Carneiro, Rotary Peace Fellow—in collaboration with Opus for Peace, the Amazonart Foundation, Friends of Music in the Americas (FOMITA), and Rotary Clubs from the United States and Canada, we respectfully request your support for the Instruments of Peace campaign—an international effort to empower young musicians, including migrants, displaced, and underserved youth, through access to instruments, training, and performance.

 About the Campaign

Instruments of Peace is a community-powered campaign to collect, refurbish, and deliver quality musical instruments to young musicians in Ecuador, many of whom are refugees or displaced youth.

These instruments don’t just make music.

They build confidence, nurture talent, and foster peace—especially in areas where symphonic education and musical resources are scarce.

This initiative is laying the groundwork for a future Music Academy and Peace Orchestra, where diverse students will unite through music, cultural exchange, and collaborative growth.

💛 Why It Matters

•    A donated violin may become the first melody of hope for a child.
•    A saxophone in the right hands becomes a passport to self-expression.
•    A contribution today becomes a legacy of harmony for generations.

Through this campaign, Rotary clubs and individuals are putting Rotary’s pillars of Peace, Education, and Inclusion into action—one instrument, one young musician, one community at a time.
